Yesterday, the big scenes of Eagles were recorded and, according to the hockey director, the result was above expectations.
Yesterday's recording of the Eagles was a great apparatus to carry. Not least because of the GDPR law that required the signature of all statists to be able to participate. It took a little while because there were 400 people who would sign. A big contrast to last year when the statists could just sit down and the team could start filming right away.
- I would have liked to have received everyone in a good way, but it was not possible because of all the papers, says Simon Ekbäck Nordström, hockey director.
The next day, there is a noticeably tired director who is on the run for further recordings, albeit of minor kinds.
- I would love to have all the extras here again and just had to say a few kind words. I am truly grateful to everyone who showed up. Many thanks Oskarshamn. Without you, we wouldn't have been able to film. It doesn't work to record a hockey match with an empty stand, says Simon Ekbäck Nordström.
As News told us yesterday, historical scenes for the series would also be recorded.
- I never think I've seen one so .. what to say. It was a stage that was advanced. They entailed reactions from very many directions. Audiences, hockey players and judges. From a cinematic point of view, there were many things that would blow. Usually, you have four actors. This time it was a much bigger device, says Simon Ekbäck Nordström.
However, the result was really good.
- There were some shots that give goose bumps, says Simon Ekbäck Nordström.
The most difficult scene required only three shots, so of course everything was still there.
A total of 400 extras appeared. According to the director, they were a good mix of the series' fans, adults and some retirees.
- That was the top, says Simon Ekbäck Nordström.
Three days of recording remains in the hall, but with a little smaller audience. Then the production takes three weeks' needed break before it's time to film again.
- I am the technical director for the entire series so I have a full up to November. You will see more of us in town, says Simon Ekbäck Nordström.
