"Eagles" in SVT renewed - season 2 has premiered 2020


SVT renews "Eagles". The recording of the new episodes begins this fall, with the planned premiere 2020.


"Eagles" is SVT's YA venture, whose first season premiered March 8 on SVT Play.


In a press text it can be read that "Eagles" is about "four young people in a Swedish small town where love, rivalry and friendship are intertwined with a rock hard hockey venture and dream of a different future."


Now SVT announces that they have renewed "Eagles" for a second round and that the recording will start this fall.


Further on the starting point in the first eight sections: “Influencer Felicia and her brother, hockey talent Elias, child of the former NHL star Mats Kroon, move under drastic forms to the father's old hometown of Oskarshamn. A homecoming that quickly becomes dramatic, because when Felicia catches sight of Elijah's biggest team competitor Ludvig and at the same time challenges the hierarchies of high school, suddenly new rules of play apply in the small town. "


Stefan H Lindén at New Stories is the creator of the series and producer. Anton Nyberg, Michaela Hamilton and Fanny Ekstrand have written the first season's script together with director Amanda Adolfsson.


Alva Bratt and Edvard Olsson play Felicia and Elias respectively, while Adrian Öjvindsson plays the role of Ludvig.


The cast for the first season also includes Albin Grenholm, Malin Arvidsson, Per Larsson, Charlotta Jonsson, Yandeh Sallah, Sarah Gustafsson, Oskar Larring and Maria Alm Norell as well as Linnea Persson and Jakob Gartner.
